Routeware Elements Showcases New Capabilities

Latest release of Routeware Elements strengthens the connection between field operations and the back-office with new workflows, integrations, and optimizations.

Routeware is pleased to announce the latest release of its Routeware Elements platform for waste haulers and site services companies. The June 2026 release delivers significant updates across five key capabilities alongside a range of other improvements and enhancements.

Increased visibility with the Operations Map

The new Operations Map is a game-changer for dispatchers and supervisors who no longer need to piece together information from multiple tools.

  • The Operations Map provides a live, interactive view of your active fleet, with vehicle positions sourced in real time.
  • Users can look at vehicles or routes as well as using filters, searches, and drill-downs to get a clear picture of where individual vehicles have been and what’s happening on the ground.
  • The Operations Map also includes integrated video and image requests from Samsara devices. When a service issue occurs, dispatchers can now request a video clip or image directly within Elements, specifying the time window and camera(s) without needing to switch to a separate telematics portal.

Improved flexibility and usability for route optimization

The latest Elements release leverages Routeware best-in-class route optimization capability to make it quicker and easier to evaluate route efficiency across different services.

  • Elements users can now create and manage templates that configure the optimization of routes using Routeware’s FleetRoute algorithm.
  • By specifying settings for times and driving side, users can tune optimizations to the reality of residential and commercial operations.

Automation of ACH payment rejections

Improvements to the process for rejected payments means Elements users no longer have to undertake the slow and error-prone task of manually identifying rejected payments, reversing them, and reapplying balances to customer accounts.

  • ACH payment returned through partner integrations with WorldPay and Authorize.net are automatically processed reducing manual work for payment teams.
  • Rejected payments are automatically reversed and customer balances restored without manual intervention.

Touchless integration with MyTruckScales (MTS)

Enhancements to our integration with MyTruckScales, the world’s first NTEP certified, mobile and cloud-based truck scale management system, have reduced manual input and friction for drivers at the scale house.

  • Drivers using Elements InCab are now automatically signed into the MyTruckScales mobile app when they arrive at an enabled scale location, with zero action required from the driver.
  • The InCab app presents the correct workflow for each scale facility based on the facility and vendor configuration. Net weight and ticket number are automatically recorded, removing manual data entry and transcription errors, so billing and reporting will always reflect accurate disposal data.
  • Routeware Elements is now the only solution that syncs with MyTruckScales across vehicles, materials, users, and customers.

Easier Month-End Close and GL Reconciliation

Improved reporting for Accounts Receivable Reconciliation removes the time-consuming process of bringing together information from different ledgers and screens to speed up reconciliation and month-end close.

  • The new reporting cuts processing time by providing single view of General Ledger activity, Customer Aging details, and GL to Subledger Reconciliation.
  • The enhanced workflow makes it easier to identify and address issues with a clear status indicator telling users immediately whether a GL and subledger agree and where a variance exists.
