And boy, was 2024 ever a big year for Routeware.<\/p>\n<p>We launched our flagship Hauler product, <a href=\"https:\/\/routeware.com\/for-waste-haulers\/products\/routeware-elements\/\">Routeware Elements<\/a>, a streamlined single-platform solution designed to support waste businesses across collection, customer and business operations. We acquired RUBICONSmartCity, now known as <a href=\"https:\/\/routeware.com\/for-governments\/products\/routeware-smartcity\/\">Routeware SmartCity<\/a>, which helps governments manage heavy-duty fleet operations safely, efficiently and cost-effectively.<\/p>\n<p>We expanded our solutions into the <a href=\"https:\/\/routeware.com\/solutions\/specialty-services\/site-services\/\">Site Services<\/a> &#8211; Liquid Waste, Portable Sanitation, Grease, Septic, Wastewater, Construction, etc. &#8211; industry.<\/p>\n<p>We also launched <a href=\"https:\/\/routeware.com\/solutions\/customer-operations\/customer-education-outreach\/\">Routeware City<\/a>, a self-serve demo environment for our community digital education and communication platform (formerly known as ReCollect). Our event presence.<\/p>\n<p>Last year we attended 30 events across the USA, UK, and Canada &#8211; and we plan to hit the road again next year, so if you didn&#8217;t get a chance to see our booth in 2024, come visit us in 2025!<\/p>\n<p>As winter hits its stride, we are happily singing &#8220;Let it Snow&#8221;. Thanks to the acquisition of <a href=\"https:\/\/routeware.com\/for-governments\/products\/routeware-smartcity\/\">RUBICONSmartCity<\/a>, we can now support and optimize both <a href=\"https:\/\/routeware.com\/blog\/how-tech-can-optimize-snow-removal-for-successful-winter-operations\/\">snowplow<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.routeware.com\/hubfs\/1%20-%20FACT%20SHEET%20-%20ALL%20Product%20Areas\/Customer%20Story-El%20Paso_Oct_2024.pdf\">street sweeper operations<\/a> to maximise safety, efficiency and cost-savings.<\/p>\n<p>We closed out the year with a reflection on <a href=\"https:\/\/routeware.com\/blog\/how-to-reduce-waste-this-holiday-season\/\">How to Reduce Holiday Waste<\/a> &#8211; which included the <a href=\"https:\/\/routeware.com\/blog\/the-holiday-waste-wrap-up\/\">12 Days of Holiday Waste<\/a> &#8211; and took stock of 2024. Back in January, we highlighted the <a href=\"https:\/\/routeware.com\/blog\/5-key-topics-to-look-forward-to-in-2024\/\">5 Key Topics to Look Forward to in 2024 in the Waste &amp; Recycling Industry<\/a>. Indeed, every one of these predictions became reality this year.<\/p>\n<h4>So, what&#8217;s next for 2025?<\/h4>\n<p>For the industry, increased digitization, new legislation, and more potential business will lead to a whole host of opportunities and challenges, ones we&#8217;ll be right there to help you navigate through.<\/p>\n<p>As we look to the vast opportunities of the New Year, we are filled with gratitude to our colleagues, customers and partners who work tirelessly to improve our industry and share our commitment to supporting optimized, digital, and sustainable waste operations. 2025 looks bright thanks to you.<\/p>\n<p>P.S. 2024 may be coming to a close, but waste and recycling disposal never stops.
